The Times - Demand for private coronavirus testing kits is skyrocketing amid growing frustration at the lack of clarity for people self-isolating with symptoms of the disease. Prices are also rising rapidly with one supplier increasing the cost of its tests by 25 per cent over the weekend as private laboratories struggle to cope with demand. Tens of thousands of people are already thought to be self-isolating after government advice for anyone with a continuous cough or fever to stay at home.
